Moreira
Michael Moreira began writing music at the age of
15. Inspired by the recordings of The Beatles,
The Kinks, The Jam and others, he purchased a
Teac Portastudio (the second cassette 4 track ever produced) to record demos. He soon found the
recording process to be as rewarding as songwriting,
and by 1986 he found himself producing demos
for a variety of artists, including San Francisco
band Stone Fox, Kwikway, The Italian Whorenuns
(featuring Kat Bjelland, later of Babes In Toyland),
and Eban Schletter. For several years, he fronted
his own band The Undesirables (who recorded an
LP in 1987) and was the drummer for the short-
lived, but critically acclaimed band Twitch.

Over the past several years, Michael has been
busy with outside and personal projects. In
1995-96 he recorded his first album, “Hyperplush”
Three songs from "Hyperplush" are heard in the
1998 feature film SHAM. Over the course of
1997-99 he recorded his second album,
“Cowboy Killers.”

He started his own company Bluelight Media in
1998 (recently re-dubbed CREATIVE GUY), with
clients such as White Trash Wins Lotto, It's A
Chick Production, and of course, Netherota
Records. Michael has recently branched out into
music supervision and DVD Authoring. He is
currently working on a third solo album.
